Red Arch today announced plans for significant investment and expansion of its Research and Production sites in Daventry.
The company has seen increased appetite amongst its Customers for thin wall and low density materials within its exhaust product.
Plans to expand its Engineering and Production team across both sites will support a new dedicated lightweight material facility at the March House manufacturing facility.
FD David Wykes explained “We have seen an increasing requirement for lightweight product and exotic materials within the OE exhaust market. This is growing out of the low volume “specialist” area, and expanding into the higher volume sector. RA needs to be in a position to support its Customers current and future requirements. The new facility represents the culmination of two years research and planning, and will employ all new automated manufacturing methods designed to ensure both quality and continuity of supply. This is the first stage of further significant investment in new technologies planned for 2017/18.”
The new facility will be operational in July 2017.
